Deadpool used modern technology to up it's marketing game. By doing this it, targeted a younger audience , the social media generation through it's new and exciting ways of advertising. A few examples of it's marketing included;

Through the use of comedy, pretending that Deadpool had his own account made the film popular before it was even released because of people sharing Deadpool with their friends and followers on social media.
